Level 2 – Beauty Therapy

The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in; how to provide eyelash and brow treatments, removing hair using waxing techniques, applying make-up, manicure, pedicure and skincare.

Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment, how to contribute to the effective running of a beauty business, how to carry out effective salon reception duties and how to display retail stock to promote sales in the salon. You will also develop a knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.

The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.

Course Duration: Minimum 7 days, plus home studies and then assessments at the Adacemy. For VRQ qualifications students must bring with them a Ring Binder or Folder and Card Dividers as these are required for all courses and they are not provided.

Course Fees: £1750.00 this price will include your assessment fees. A £200 deposit is required to secure your place on the course. If you wish to pay in instalments please ask about our interest free prepayment plan available.

What The Course Leads To: This qualification is the threshold qualification for working in the Beauty Therapy Sector and is essential for anyone starting work as a therapist. Students can progress on to the VTCT Level 3 Massage or VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology.

Please note that on your training day we do not provide lunch but drinks will be provided free of charge, however there are shops where refreshments can be purchased approx 1 mile away. If you wish to bring your own lunch then we have adequate facilities for this.
